Types of paper
Journal of Computational Frontiers (JCF) considers the following types of articles for publication:
- Research article — analysis, interpretation, and argument based on in-depth independent research.
- Review article — summarizes existing literature, identifies research gaps, and may draw new conclusions.
Cover letter
Include journal/editor name, title and type of article, submission date, background summary, methods summary, key findings and significance, authors' affiliations, and a statement that the paper is not under review elsewhere and all authors approve submission.
Preparation of the manuscript
- Title — concise and informative.
- Author names and affiliations — list all authors with institutional addresses; include corresponding author email.
- Highlights — 3 to 5 short bullet points (85 characters or fewer).
- Abstract — 200 to 300 words covering background, novelties, methods, results, and conclusions.
- Keywords — 3 to 6 keywords.
- Main sections — Introduction; Materials and methods; Results and discussion; Conclusions; optional Appendix and Supplementary material.
- Declarations — Conflict of Interest; Funding; Acknowledgments; Availability of Data and Materials; Use of Artificial Intelligence Chatbots.
- References — numbered in order of appearance; EndNote or Mendeley recommended.
Submit equations as editable text. Figures should be TIFF or JPEG with captions. Tables should be editable text.
